On this page we have listed Australian hospitals that are offering the option of waterbirth. Each hospital will have different policies, practice guidelines, and may require an accredited midwife on duty for a waterbirth to be possible. This list is in its infancy and we'd love to hear from you if you know a hospital that is not listed here or if a hospital is listed in error.

Bunbury Regional Hospital provides the option to waterbirth either in the small bath or you can BYO birth pool.

Campbelltown Hospital also has many waterbirths each year. The unit has 5 birthing rooms with lovely deep baths. campbelltown hospital in in NSW and serves women in the MacArthur Wollondilly areas

Hi, earlier I submitted a comment about the Mater Mothers offering water baths. Apologies, I was wrong. 'We do not offer water birth at Mater Mothers’ Hospitals. You will be asked to exit the bath before the birth of your baby.'
